In Washington Crossing, PA, our team at DEC Construction transformed a backyard into a true outdoor living retreat by designing and building a custom sunroom addition paired with an expansive composite deck. The homeowners wanted a seamless blend of indoor comfort and outdoor enjoyment, and this renovation delivered exactly that.
The roof of the new addition was finished with GAF Slateline® shingles in Antique Slate, providing both durability and a refined architectural look. Stepping outside, the expansive deck extends the living space into the backyard and was built with TimberTech Vintage Collection Advanced PVC decking in English Walnut, paired with a Trex Transcend composite railing system in white for a sleek, low-maintenance finish. Integrated lighting, modern railing details, and ample space for both dining and lounging make the deck perfect for everyday living and entertaining.
To complete the project, we added custom trim details, matched finishes to the existing home exterior, and landscaped around the new structure for a polished appearance. The result is a versatile, welcoming space ideal for family gatherings, quiet mornings, or summer evenings with friends.
